1. Agreeing(賛成する)
- "Absolutely." / "Exactly." / "Definitely." / "Couldn't agree more."
- "You're absolutely right." / "That's exactly what I think." / "I'm totally with you on that."
- "100%." / "No doubt about it."
- "I see your point, but..." / "That's true, although..." / "I agree to some extent."
- "Yeah, kind of, but I'd add that..."
- "Totally." / "For sure." / "Same here." / "I know, right?" / "Yeah, no, exactly." (賛成の no)
2. Disagreeing(反対する)— やわらかさが命
- "I see what you mean, but..." / "I get where you're coming from, but..."
- "That's a fair point, but I'm not sure I agree."
- "I'm not so sure about that." / "I'd have to disagree there, actually."
- "Hmm, I see it a bit differently." / "Actually, I think..."
- "With all due respect, I think..."
- "I'm afraid I can't agree with that." / "I really don't think that's the case."
- "Yeah, but..." / "I dunno, I feel like..." / "Eh, not really." / "I'm not feelin' that."
I see your point, but..." "No, you're wrong."
3. Hedging / Softening(断定を避ける・やわらげる)
- "I think / I guess / I suppose..." / "It seems to me that..." / "If you ask me..."
- "I'm no expert, but..." / "Correct me if I'm wrong, but..."
- "As far as I know..." / "From what I understand..."
- "kind of / sort of" — "It's kind of expensive."
- "a bit / a little" — "I'm a bit busy right now."
- "maybe / perhaps / possibly / probably"
- "tend to" — "I tend to agree."
- "It might be a good idea to..."
- "I'd say..." — "I'd say it's about an hour away." (1
- "Would you mind ___ing?" / "Could you possibly...?" / "Do you think you could...?"
- "It would be great if you could..." / "I was wondering if..."
比較: × "You are wrong." → ○ "I think you might be mistaken." × "Give me the report." → ○ "Would you mind sending me the report?" × "That's bad." → ○ "That's not ideal." / "That's not great."
4. Asking for Clarification(聞き返す・確認する)
- "Sorry, could you say that again?" / "Could you repeat that, please?"
- "I didn't quite catch that." / "Sorry, what was that?"
- "Come again?"
- "What do you mean by ___?" / "What does ___ mean?"
- "Sorry, I'm not sure I follow." / "Could you explain that a bit more?"
- "So you're saying ___?" / "Just to make sure I understand..."
- "Let me see if I've got this right..." / "Do you mean ___ or ___?"
- "Could you put that another way?" / "Could you rephrase that?"
- "In other words...?" / "Sorry, you've lost me."
"Pardon?" Sorry, could you repeat that?" 理解確認の "So you're saying..."
5. Interrupting Politely(丁寧に割り込む)
- "Sorry to interrupt, but..." / "Can I just jump in here?"
- "If I could just add something..." / "Sorry, can I say something?"
- "Just a quick point..." / "Before we move on, I'd like to..."
- "Hold on, can I clarify one thing?"
Oh, real quick—" / "Wait, can I just say..."
- "Sure, go ahead." / "Let me just finish this thought." / "If I could just finish..."
6. Giving Opinions(意見を述べる)
- "In my opinion..." / "Personally, I think..." / "If you ask me..."
- "The way I see it..." / "I'd say..." / "From my perspective..."
I feel like..." / "Honestly..." / "To be honest..." / "I mean..."
- "I strongly believe..." / "There's no question that..." / "I'm convinced that..."
- "I'm not entirely sure, but..." / "This might be wrong, but..." / "I could be off here, but..."
7. Natural Fillers(自然なつなぎ言葉)
(fluency_techniques.md も参照)
- "Well..." / "Let me think..." / "Hmm..." / "Let's see..." / "How can I put this..."
- "I guess..." / "You know..." / "It's like..."
- "I mean..." (つまり) / "or rather..." / "what I'm trying to say is..." / "actually..."
- "Right." / "Yeah." / "Sure." / "Exactly." / "Totally." / "I see." / "Gotcha." / "Makes sense."
- "Anyway..." / "So..." / "By the way..." (ところで) / "Speaking of which..." (それで言うと) / "That reminds me..."
完全な沈黙より "Well, let me think..."
- "Why don't we...?" / "How about ___ing?" / "We could always..." / "What if we...?"
- "..., right?" / "..., don't you think?" / "Does that make sense?" / "You know what I mean?"
- "To be fair..." (公平に言うと) / "That said..." (とはいえ) / "Having said that..." / "Then again..."
- "So, long story short..." (要するに) / "At the end of the day..." (結局) / "All in all..."
No way!" / "You're kidding!" / "Seriously?" / "That's crazy!"
- 共感: "I totally get it." / "That makes sense." / "I hear you."
That's awesome!" / "I'm so happy for you!"
That's a shame." / "That's too bad." / "Oh no."
